Others might really want to help, but if we don’t make it easy for them, chances are they’ll get too busy doing other things. The easiest way to ask people to help promote our posts is to send them the link to the post itself. Yes, every post that we create has its own URL (link)! Watch the video to see how easy it is to the get links to our posts so we can quickly share them in LinkedIn messages or emails. You can use this technique on posts that you created yourself, or you can find posts that other people have created by starting at their profile. I have often used this technique if I was scrolling through and saw something I wanted to read later and then can’t find it in my newsfeed. As long as I remember who wrote the post, it’s very simple to find! Most of our colleagues would be happy to help out – when we make it simple, they're most likely to do it.
